ACTING.
Gareth has been a professional actor and voiceover artist since 2003, and has performed in theatre, film, TV, radio, commercials, animations, web-series...you name it, really! He graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Acting and trained in Performance/Motion Capture at The Motion Capture Academy. He also has an MA in Creative Enterprise (consisting of Advanced Theatre and Performance Studies, Business and Law) from the University of Reading.
Gareth's most recent work has been performing as Stanley Stubbers in the 5-star reviewed New Vic's production of "One Man, Two Guvnors"; filming a part in "One Love", the Bob Marley biopic; acting alongside Sunta Templeton and Johnny Vaughn in a Radio X commercial; filming a series of adverts for Finish USA (as well as providing his voice for a further four promotional videos), and returning to Chipping Norton Theatre to play Horace Muffin-Stuffler in their 50th pantomime, "Dick Whittington".
Over the last few years, Gareth has filmed an episode of The Crown (as famous newsreader, Michael Beurk), portrayed the artist Albrecht Durer in a documentary for the National Gallery online, recorded the voiceover for the Reform Political Advertising campaign, toured the UK as Jack in Full House Theatre's new adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk, co-adapted and performed in a UK tour of The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch for Pied Piper Theatre, written and performed the folk storytelling show The Mermaid of Padstow, and filmed a bundle of comedy shorts for the BBC for their About Shakespeare series.
Other acting credits include Dr Seward in Dracula, Macduff in Macbeth, Jimmy Porter in Look Back in Anger, Young 'Arry in Three Keepers, Clive in The Night Before Christmas, Jason in The Foreground, Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, and Anthony in The Three Of Us. He also had to dress up as a Centaur in an advert for Hampton by Hilton and was the voice and face of the Tesco Mobile "Enough Said" campaign.
